Six Countries. Six stories. One remarkable gift.

Australia is home to hundreds of sovereign Aboriginal nations, each with their own language, culture, and deep connection to Country. Munda Wines honours this richness of culture by working with Traditional Owners, grapegrowers and winemakers across the continent -  from Tasmania's island cool to the Grampians' ancient ranges, the Yarra Valley's green hills to Margaret River's ocean-facing slopes.

A Journey Through Country is our finest selection: six wines, six Traditional Countries, beautifully packaged with heavy-stock collateral and detailed tasting notes. It is a gift unlike any other.

The wines:

2020 Vintage Brut | Kanamaluka Country (Tamar Valley, TAS)

Five years in the making, this Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wine opens with fresh citrus, green apple, and white strawberry aromas, layered with toasty brioche and a fine, persistent bead. A lively mineral finish. The perfect way to begin.

2023 Chardonnay | Wadandi Country (Margaret River, WA)

From the ancient granite landforms of Wadandi Country. Barrel-fermented and aged on lees for nine months; white peach, pear, cashew, and a vivid lemon-sherbet acidity. A beautiful extended finish for a refined and elegant wine.

2023 Grenache | Ngadjuri & Peramangk Country (Barossa Valley, SA)

From an 80-year-old dry-grown vineyard on Ngadjuri and Peramangk Country - the famed Barossa Valley. Raspberry, dried cherry, and spice - layered with savoury earthiness and the potential to cellar for up to 15 years.

2023 Syrah | Djab Wurrung Country (Grampians, VIC)

A cool-climate expression from the sandstone soils of Djab Wurrung Country. Dark berries, earthy spice, and florals; layered with fresh fruit, tar, and cocoa, with a long, fine finish. Exceptional cellaring potential.

2022 Syrah | Kaurna Country (McLaren Vale, SA)

Hand-harvested before dawn on Kaurna Country. Generous and expressive - blueberry, dark cherry, cacao, and warming spice, with the fine sandy tannins that define the Blewitt Springs subregion. Reviewed 96 points.

2023 Pinot Noir | Wurundjeri Country (Yarra Valley, VIC)

A Pinot Noir of refined elegance from Wurundjeri Country in the Yarra Valley. Vibrant red and dark cherry, earthy forest floor, and delicate spice; aged for 10 months in French oak, with a fresh, medium-weight palate and fine, long tannins.

Printed on heavy card stock, the enclosed collateral includes detailed tasting notes, cellar notes suggesting which wines to open sooner and which will reward cellaring, and an A4 printed poster of our unique Country Map.
