Munda Wines Takes SA to the World at LIV Golf Adelaide

LIV Golf Adelaide, one of the world’s most talked-about golf events, returned to South Australia’s greens in February 2026, bringing global sporting attention - and thousands of visitors - to Adelaide and reinforcing the city’s reputation as a major internatioMnal destinatidfon.
At this year’s tournament, we were thrilled to be selected as an official player gift for all LIV Golf competitors - meaning every player left Adelaide with a bottle of our 2023 Syrah | Kaurna Country to take back to whatever corner of the globe they call home. Working in partnership with the South Australian Tourism Commission, we developed bespoke collateral to accompany these gifts, connecting our wine and its stories to the broader narrative of South Australia.
This was a wonderful opportunity for us - not just as a premium South Australian wine brand, but as an Aboriginal-owned business telling stories of Country, culture and connection to the world. To have our Kaurna Syrah chosen as the wine to help represent South Australia to an audience of elite, global athletes and ambassadors of sport is a great honour.
Each bottle gifted reflects the ancient landscapes of Kaurna Country (McLaren Vale) with dark fruits, spice and floral notes in a medium-bodied expression that speaks both of place and our broader philosophy of connection.
As the world’s best golfers depart Adelaide, they now carry with them a taste of South Australia and a story that's forever connected to beautiful Kaurna Country.
